My Journey

My love for flowers, Art and design started at childhood.  I am a native Californian, originally from Berkeley California where I found my love for flowers in my own back yard.

I began my journey designing gift baskets and decorative boxes for retail boutiques and special celebrations and events. I have always loved Flowers and plants as well as interior decorative accessories. One day I decided I wanted to make a living utilizing my creative skills, so I decided in the mid 90’s to enroll in the renowned Horticulture and Floristry program at San Francisco City College where I studied horticulture and floral design. That class lead me to my first Wedding and parttime freelance designer gigs while working a fulltime job. I then started my floral business in 2002. 

I moved from California Bay area to Atlanta Georgie and had to start all over again.  However, my spirit led me to a few kindred spirits, and I began my floral design journey in a brand-new light.   I have maintained this business part time while pursuing my other passion as a realtor, but it has always been hard to keep it from growing into what it is meant to be. During the Pandemic, I decided to plan and reestablish Living Blossom Floral design while selling new homes. I am so excited! now that it is 2022 I am jumping into my love for flowers, brides and events fulltime and this time I will persist building Living Blossom Floral design and let the journey continue.
